Microblogging platform, Twitter on Monday, stated its talks with the Buhari administration to handle the lingering assertion over restoration of its companies in Nigeria have been respectful and productive.
“Discussions with the Nigerian authorities have been respectful and productive – we look ahead to seeing the service restored very quickly.
We proceed to interact with the Nigerian authorities to debate why Twitter has been blocked and methods to resolve the matter. We’re dedicated to charting a path ahead to the restoration of Twitter for everybody in Nigeria,” Twitter spokesperson stated in an announcement to Peoples Gazette
The assertion comes a day after the controversial ban hit 100 days, with rights activists expressing fears that the regime was not in a rush to rescind its motion and permit the constitutional rights of Nigerians prevail.
