MY FIRST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AS AN ORPHAN BUT THANK GOD MY PARENTS LIVED A FULFILLED LIFE!!! – Awoso says.

I give glory and adoration to the Almighty God for adding another year to me. I am a year wiser, older, bolder, & humble. Today is significant in my life because i am celebrating my birthday without my two parents. The joy is that both of them lived a fulfilled Christian life despite all adversities.

I glorify the Almighty God because during their lifetime, I have had causes to make them proud. Since their departure, I have also continued to make them proud as I did promised them when they were alive.

Believe it or not, the good things I did to make them proud are not unconnected to their answered prayers over my life. It is in retrospection of this that i inscribed on my transportation vehicle in Yoruba:

“ADURA ATI IDUNNU OBI, OBA AWURE NI” meaning the prayers & happiness of one’s Parent is a success magic.

This year’s celebration is in multiple fold because this month marks my Wedding Anniversary to my wife, Stella. It also marks the one year celebration of my beautiful daughter, Giovanna Adedamola Awoso. It is the second year anniversary that i won election as Legislator in the Ogun State House Of Assembly (March 2019) and also the month I successfully buried my beloved aged mother, Madam Sabainah Asake Awoso.

I give God all the praises and adoration for my life today. May the Lord continue to uphold and guide me and all my well wishers in our journey of life in Jesus name.
